Orlando turned a routine November game into a rout on Tuesday night, hammering the Philadelphia 76ers 144-103 while losing guard Jalen Suggs to an ejection just before halftime.
The incident unfolded with 27 seconds remaining in the second quarter at the Magic free-throw line. Center Andre Drummond and Wendell Carter Jr. squared up, sparking a flurry of shoves and words. Suggs pushed Drummond, Jabari Walker stepped in, and the confrontation escalated.
Officials assessed technical fouls to Drummond, Carter, Walker and Desmond Bane. Suggs was hit with two technicals, triggering an automatic ejection and sending him to the locker room.
Orlando had already seized control long before the dust-up. The Magic outscored Philadelphia by 26 in the second period, carried an 86-60 advantage into intermission and never trailed the rest of the night.
Rookie guard Anthony Black came off the bench to score 31 points, leading a balanced Orlando attack. Tyrese Maxey paced the 76ers with 20 but could not spark a comeback as Philadelphia struggled to generate consistent offense.
Even without Suggs for the final two quarters, the Magic maintained their dominance, cruising to one of their most decisive wins of the season.
