The San Antonio Spurs have waived forward Osayi Osifo, according to the NBA’s official transactions log dated September 13, 2025.
Osifo, a 6-foot-7 native of South Africa, entered the league undrafted in 2023 after playing at Jacksonville University. He joined San Antonio for Summer League action earlier this year and briefly played for the Calgary Stampede of the Canadian Elite Basketball League last spring.
During the 2024-25 campaign, the 25-year-old spent most of his time with the Spurs’ G League affiliate in Austin. Over 30 regular-season games, he averaged 7.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.0 steal and 1.3 blocks in 24.1 minutes per contest.
Osifo was widely expected to be on an Exhibit 10 deal. If he returns to Austin and remains with the club for at least 60 days in 2025-26, he would qualify for a bonus of up to $85,300.
With the move, San Antonio’s roster stands at 20 players, one below the offseason maximum.
