The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with guard/forward Stanley Umude, according to reports from Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot and Keith Smith of Spotrac.
The signing fills the Spurs’ offseason roster to 20 players, leaving the club one spot below the maximum allowed for training camp and preseason.
Umude, 26, spent the 2024-25 campaign on a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. He appeared in 22 NBA games in limited minutes and averaged 17.5 points and 4.4 rebounds over 13 contests with the Wisconsin Herd in the G League. The 6-foot-6 wing also played for Milwaukee’s Summer League squad in July.
The Arkansas product entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and previously held two-way deals with the Detroit Pistons for two seasons.
If Umude does not secure a spot on San Antonio’s regular-season roster, the Exhibit 10 arrangement allows the organization to assign him to its G League affiliate in Austin. Remaining with the Austin Spurs for at least 60 days would earn him a bonus of up to $85,300.
