The San Antonio Spurs have added forward Emanuel Miller on a two-way deal and released two-way guard Stanley Umude, the club announced today in a press release.

Miller, 25, reached San Antonio less than a week after being waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 6’5” Canadian was shipped to Cleveland from Chicago earlier this month in a three-team trade that sent De’Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings. He never suited up for the Cavaliers before they let him go on Friday.

Undrafted out of TCU in 2024, Miller initially joined the Chicago Bulls on a two-way contract in December 2024 and appeared in 11 NBA games for the team. In 27 G League contests this season with the Windy City Bulls and Cleveland Charge, he is averaging 18.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 33.7 minutes.

Umude, 26, signed his two-way pact with San Antonio in December and saw action in two NBA games for the Spurs. The 6’6” swingman remains a regular contributor for the Austin Spurs, where he has played 31 G League games while posting 18.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 34.8 minutes.

Before arriving in San Antonio, Umude logged 47 NBA appearances over his first two seasons, including 22 games with the Milwaukee Bucks last year. He broke into the league with the Detroit Pistons in 2023-24, averaging 5.3 points in 12.8 minutes.
