Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg is listed as questionable for Sunday’s road game against the Raptors after aggravating discomfort in his left foot. The forward had missed nearly a month with a mid-foot sprain before returning for two games this week. He logged 30 minutes in Friday’s loss at Boston but briefly exited in the first quarter after slipping. Flagg acknowledged the foot was “a little sore” yet playable and attributed his 14-for-45 shooting since the layoff to lost rhythm rather than lingering pain.

Marvin Bagley III, sidelined the last five contests by a neck sprain, has also been upgraded to questionable for Sunday. The 25-year-old big man, acquired from Washington in last month’s Anthony Davis trade, is averaging 13.0 points and 8.9 rebounds in seven outings with Dallas.

In Memphis, forward Olivier-Maxence Prosper is aiming higher after the Grizzlies converted his two-way contract to a standard NBA deal this week. “I’m grateful but not satisfied,” the 6-foot-8 rookie said, adding that the season’s final five weeks offer a chance to validate the organization’s confidence.

The San Antonio Spurs added another highlight to their surprising season Friday, rallying from 25 points down to defeat the Clippers. Rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama called the comeback “one of the best games” of his basketball life and admitted he felt on the verge of passing out from the effort.
