August 7, 2025 — Three former NBA players have lined up new destinations overseas for the 2025-26 campaign.
Dmytro Skapintsev heads to Israel
Hapoel Jerusalem confirmed it has reached a one-year agreement with free-agent center Dmytro Skapintsev, 27. The contract includes an option for a second season; the type of option was not disclosed.
The 7’1″ Ukrainian briefly held a two-way deal with the New York Knicks during 2023-24, appearing in two NBA games. He spent the last three seasons in the G League, suiting up for the Westchester Knicks, the Maine Celtics and the Rip City Remix. In 44 outings with Maine and Portland’s affiliate last year, he averaged 8.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 blocks in 23.8 minutes.
Jack White signs in Turkey
Forward Jack White, 28, has joined Turkish club Mesin MSK on a one-year deal. The Australian appeared in the NBA with Denver in 2022-23 and Memphis in 2023-24. Last season he split time between Melbourne United and Bayern Munich, winning a German domestic title with the latter. White posted 13.8 points and 9.4 rebounds while shooting .513 from the field over 27 games (26.1 MPG) for Melbourne.
Jacob Wiley closing in on Lithuanian move
Sources told BasketNews that Jacob Wiley, 30, is finalizing terms with Rytas Vilnius. The forward held a two-way contract with Brooklyn during the 2017-18 season and has since played in Germany, Greece, Montenegro, Spain and New Zealand. He spent the past two years with Spanish side Granada.

All three signings add to an active international market that has already seen guard Hamidou Diallo land a two-year deal with Baskonia.
