The Philadelphia 76ers have brought in four free agents on training-camp contracts, adding forward Emoni Bates, guard Kennedy Chandler, wing Malcolm Hill and forward Jaylen Martin, the club announced Monday.

Because Philadelphia is operating near the salary cap, all four agreements are expected to be Exhibit 10 deals, which can be converted to two-way contracts or carry a G League bonus.

Player breakdown

Emoni Bates — The 6’10” forward, 21, was selected 49th overall by Cleveland in the 2023 draft. Across 25 NBA games with the Cavaliers over two seasons on a two-way pact, he averaged 3.1 points and 0.8 rebounds.

Kennedy Chandler — The 6’0” point guard appeared in 36 games for the Grizzlies during the 2022-23 campaign. Since then he has played in the G League for the Memphis Hustle, Long Island Nets and Raptors 905.

Malcolm Hill — A 6’6” swingman, Hill logged 24 contests with Atlanta and Chicago between 2021 and 2023. He signed a 10-day contract with New Orleans in 2024 but did not appear, spending most of last season with the Birmingham Squadron.

Jaylen Martin — The 6’6” forward split his rookie year in 2024-25 between Brooklyn and Washington on two-way deals. In 16 games, he posted 4.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.6 steals.

Additional Exhibit 10 agreements

Philadelphia already has Izan Almansa on an Exhibit 10 contract, and Igor Milicic is reportedly under the same terms. Players waived from Exhibit 10 deals who spend at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate can earn bonuses of up to $85,300.

The four additions move the 76ers closer to the 21-player offseason roster limit as training camp approaches.
