Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Tyrese Maxey Named NBA Players of the Week

The NBA announced on November 3, 2025, that Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey have been selected as the Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively.
Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder to a 4-0 record during the league’s weekly evaluation period, averaging 28.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
Maxey guided the 76ers to a 3-1 mark while putting up 33.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 9.8 assists per contest.
Other Western Conference nominees included Portland’s Deni Avdija and Jrue Holiday, Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Los Angeles Lakers teammates Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves, and Houston’s Alperen Şengün. Eastern Conference nominees were Boston’s Jaylen Brown, Detroit’s Cade Cunningham, Chicago’s Josh Giddey, Atlanta’s Jalen Johnson and Milwaukee’s Ryan Rollins.
