Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis went through a full practice on Thursday, and the club is hopeful he will suit up for Friday’s home game against the Washington Wizards.

A league source told James Ham of TheKingsBeat.com that Sabonis will be listed as questionable for the matchup at Golden 1 Center.

The 29-year-old has been out since November 16 with a partially torn meniscus in his left knee, missing 27 consecutive games. Before the injury, the three-time All-Star averaged 17.2 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.2 steals over 33.2 minutes in 11 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. He has led the NBA in rebounds per game in each of the past three seasons.

Sacramento enters Friday at 11-30 but is riding its first three-game winning streak of the season after defeating Houston, the Lakers and New York. The current homestand concludes next Wednesday against Toronto.

With the Kings near the bottom of the Western Conference, Sabonis has been mentioned in multiple trade scenarios. The Lithuanian big man is signed through the 2027-28 season on a long-term deal.
