Toronto, ON — The Toronto Raptors have waived rookie forward Tyson Degenhart, the team confirmed on September 26.
Degenhart, 22, joined Toronto on an Exhibit 10 agreement shortly after going undrafted in June. The contract, formally signed only a few days ago, allowed the Raptors to convert him to their G League affiliate while preserving a financial incentive.
Because he was released under Exhibit 10 terms, the 6-foot-8 wing can earn a bonus of up to $85,300 if he remains with Raptors 905 for at least 60 days this season.
Degenhart played four collegiate seasons at Boise State, collecting first-team All-Mountain West honors in each of the last three years. As a senior in 2024-25, he averaged 18.3 points and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 52.6 percent from the field, 34.9 percent from beyond the arc and 79.7 percent at the free-throw line across 37 games (33.6 minutes per contest).
