TORONTO — The Toronto Raptors have exercised their team options on Gradey Dick and Ja’Kobe Walter for the 2026/27 NBA season, the club announced Tuesday.
Dick’s fourth-year option will cost $7,131,511 against the cap, while Walter’s third-year option is valued at $3,811,800. The front office faced an end-of-October deadline to make the decision.
Dick, the 13th pick in the 2023 draft, started 54 games last season and averaged 14.4 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists over 29.4 minutes. With offseason acquisition Brandon Ingram expected to take a starting role, Dick is projected to shift to a reserve spot in the upcoming campaign.
Walter, selected 19th overall in 2024, appeared in 52 contests as a rookie, posting 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 21.2 minutes. The guard will miss the season opener because of an illness but is expected to compete for rotation minutes once healthy.
Both players are now under contract through 2026/27 and will vie for playing time as Toronto finalizes its rotation.
