The Toronto Raptors are not expected to explore trade scenarios for Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant or Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis, according to a report from Hoops Wire.

League sources cited by the outlet indicated that Toronto’s front office is currently focused on other roster options and is not positioning itself to make a push for either All-Star. No discussions involving Morant or Davis are believed to be underway, and the Raptors have not made preliminary inquiries with the Grizzlies or Lakers, the report added.

Morant, 24, is under contract with Memphis through the 2028 season, while Davis, 31, signed an extension with Los Angeles that runs through 2028. Both players remain cornerstone pieces for their respective franchises, and neither team is known to be actively shopping its star.

With the leaguewide trade market expected to heat up later in the offseason, Toronto is reportedly concentrating on incremental moves rather than pursuing blockbuster deals for marquee names such as Morant or Davis.
