The New Orleans Pelicans have added undrafted rookies Chase Hunter and Josh Oduro on Exhibit 10 contracts, according to a post from Spotrac contributor Keith Smith on October 9, 2025.
Hunter, a 6’4” guard, spent six seasons at Clemson (2019-25). A medical redshirt for a freshman-year foot injury and an extra year of COVID-19 eligibility allowed him to appear in 167 games, including 123 starts. As a super-senior in 2024/25, he averaged 16.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting .470 from the field, .407 from three-point range and .866 at the free-throw line. He earned first-team All-ACC honors and finished as Clemson’s third-leading scorer all-time.
Oduro, a 6’9” forward, went undrafted in 2024 and was signed and waived by New Orleans during last year’s camp. The Virginia native played four seasons at George Mason before transferring to Providence for his final collegiate year, posting career averages of 12.9 points and 6.6 rebounds over 148 games (128 starts). In 2024/25 he suited up for the Birmingham Squadron, the Pelicans’ G League affiliate, averaging 11.4 points, 8.2 boards, 2.8 assists and 1.1 blocks across 44 contests.
Both players can earn bonuses of up to $85,300 if they are waived by the Pelicans and remain with the Squadron for at least 60 days.
