Former NBA guard Patrick Beverley is confronting serious domestic‐violence allegations after being arrested in Fort Bend County, Texas, earlier this month, according to police documents reviewed by TMZ Sports.

The probable-cause affidavit states the incident occurred late on Nov. 14 at a family residence. Investigators say Beverley’s sister left the house without permission to meet her boyfriend, Aiden Hilderbrand, at a nearby park. When she returned, her mother told her to call Hilderbrand for a ride and contacted Beverley to come home.

Upon arrival, Beverley allegedly confronted his sister, grabbed her neck with both hands, lifted her off the ground and held her there for 20 to 30 seconds, the affidavit says. She told officers she struggled to breathe before Beverley purportedly slammed her against walls while dragging her out of the bedroom. The report further claims Beverley pinned her to a sofa, struck her left eye with a closed fist and warned he would be the family member “to kill her.”

Responding officers observed neck marks and eye petechiae consistent with strangulation, according to the affidavit. Hilderbrand, who had been asked to leave during the altercation, later dialed 911. Beverley was taken into custody and booked on a felony assault charge.

Beverley, 36, briefly addressed the matter on social media, writing, “Please dont believe everything you see on the internet. Hope all is well Luv.” The veteran guard last played in the NBA during the 2023-24 season.
