Pacers to Sign Mac McClung, Plan to Waive James Wiseman

The Indiana Pacers are adding guard Mac McClung on a multiyear contract, agent Greg Lawrence told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Monday.
League sources said the agreement is fully non-guaranteed. To open a roster spot, Indiana will waive center James Wiseman, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
Wiseman’s current deal with the Pacers includes a $1 million partial guarantee, noted Keith Smith of Spotrac. If the 24-year-old clears waivers, that figure will remain on Indiana’s 2025-26 salary cap.
The move keeps the Pacers at the 15-player limit while giving the 6-foot-2 McClung, 26, another NBA opportunity after spending most of last season in the G League.
