The Indiana Pacers have signed center Samson Johnson and forward Gabe McGlothan to Exhibit 10 contracts and have waived guards Steven Ashworth and RJ Felton, the club announced in a press release on Sept. 23.

Johnson, 22, and McGlothan, 25, are expected to be released before the regular season begins and then join the Pacers’ NBA G League affiliate, the Noblesville Boom. Should either player spend at least 60 days with Noblesville, he would earn a bonus of up to $85,300 under the Exhibit 10 terms.

Johnson went undrafted in June after helping Connecticut capture back-to-back national championships in 2023 and 2024. As a senior last season, the 6-foot-11 big man averaged 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 19.4 minutes across 34 games. He played for Indiana’s Summer League squad in July.

McGlothan, undrafted following four seasons at Grand Canyon, attended Denver’s training camp last year but was waived before opening night. The 6-foot-7 forward spent 2024-25 with the G League’s Grand Rapids Gold, posting 8.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 42 contests. He appeared with Dallas’ Summer League team in July.

Ashworth and Felton, who had signed Exhibit 10 contracts with Indiana on Sept. 21, were also part of the Pacers’ Summer League roster. Ashworth averaged 16.4 points and a Big East-best 6.8 assists during his super-senior season at Creighton, while Felton put up 18.8 points per game as a senior at East Carolina.
