The Indiana Pacers have signed guard Ethan Thompson to a two-way contract and waived rookie guard RayJ Dennis to create the roster spot, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

The move was completed on November 30, 2025, shortly before noon Central Time. Thompson, 26, opened training camp with Miami on an Exhibit 10 agreement but was released prior to the regular season. He then appeared in eight contests for the Heat’s G League affiliate, producing 26.9 points, 6.5 assists and 5.8 rebounds per game while converting 36.8 percent of his 8.5 three-point attempts.

Dennis saw action in 13 NBA games for Indiana, averaging 4.9 points across 12.9 minutes a night. The 22-year-old also logged two outings in the G League, where he recorded 20.5 points and 8.5 assists but hit only 25.0 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. He connected on 31.6 percent of his three-pointers with the Pacers.

Thompson will split time between Indiana and its G League affiliate under the terms of his two-way deal, while Dennis becomes an unrestricted free agent after clearing waivers.
