The Denver Nuggets have waived center Moses Brown and forward Kessler Edwards, a source told Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette on October 18.
Brown, 26, joined Denver on an Exhibit 10 contract in September. The 7-foot-2 big man appeared in 13 NBA games last season with the Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks but spent most of the year in the G League. The Grand Rapids Gold, Denver’s affiliate, recently acquired his returning rights, positioning him to land there once he clears waivers.
Since entering the league in 2019, Brown has logged short stints with seven different franchises.
Edwards, 25, also signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Nuggets over the summer. The 6-foot-8 wing played 40 games for Dallas in 2024-25, averaging 4.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15.2 minutes. Like Brown, he is eligible for a bonus of up to $85,300 if he spends at least 60 days with Grand Rapids after clearing waivers.
Following the moves, Denver’s roster stands at 14 standard contracts, with all three two-way slots occupied.
