The Cleveland Cavaliers closed out a hard-fought matchup with the Utah Jazz on Monday night, relying on decisive plays from forward Evan Mobley and guard Donovan Mitchell to secure the victory.

Mobley powered the interior on both ends of the floor, while Mitchell supplied timely scoring in the final minutes to keep Utah from mounting a comeback. The duo’s combined efforts allowed Cleveland to overcome a stretch of uneven offense that had briefly let the Jazz back into contention.

Despite occasional turnovers and missed opportunities, the Cavaliers maintained their composure down the stretch. Solid half-court defense limited Utah’s clean looks over the last two possessions, and Cleveland converted free throws in the closing seconds to put the game out of reach.

The win gives the Cavaliers another boost as they continue a multi-game homestand before heading back on the road later in the week.
