Nets Plan To Waive Fifth-Year Guard Cam Thomas

The Brooklyn Nets will place guard Cam Thomas on waivers after failing to move him before today’s trade deadline, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Once the transaction is processed, the fifth-year guard will be available to any NBA club with an open roster spot and sufficient room under its hard cap. If no team claims him during the waiver period, Thomas will become an unrestricted free agent.
