The Brooklyn Nets have added guard Terry Roberts and forward Tre Scott to their offseason roster, the club announced Monday.

Contract terms were not disclosed, but the agreements are expected to be Exhibit 10 deals. That structure would allow each player to receive a bonus of up to $85,300 if waived before the season begins and they remain with the Long Island Nets of the NBA G League for at least 60 days.

Roberts, a 6’3″ guard who went undrafted out of Georgia in 2023, spent his rookie season with Long Island. His career was interrupted in February 2024 when he was struck by a stray bullet in the upper chest and briefly placed on a ventilator. After making a full recovery, he returned to the floor last season, averaging 6.7 points, 5.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 25.7 minutes across 31 G League games.

Scott, a 6’8″ forward, turned pro in 2020 and has logged time in Puerto Rico, France and Canada in addition to multiple G League stops. He appeared in two NBA games with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2021-22 campaign. The 28-year-old joined Long Island for the 2024-25 regular season, posting 11.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals over 34 contests while averaging 32.0 minutes.

The Nets now have the offseason maximum of 21 players under contract. The two open roster spots were created earlier Monday when Brooklyn waived Dariq Whitehead and Drew Timme.
