The Brooklyn Nets have officially ruled out forwards Michael Porter Jr. and Danny Wolf for the balance of the 2025/26 campaign, head coach Jordi Fernandez told reporters on Wednesday.

Porter, 27, was diagnosed with a left hamstring strain on March 19 and was initially projected to be re-evaluated within two to three weeks. Instead, the club has decided to sideline him for the final six games, beginning with Friday’s matchup against Atlanta.

In his first season with Brooklyn, Porter appeared in 52 contests, logging 32.5 minutes per night and averaging 24.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 46.3% from the field, 36.3% from three-point range and 85.9% at the free-throw line. The scoring and assist numbers are career highs.

Porter last played on March 10, when he scored 19 points in 22 minutes during a lopsided loss to Detroit. He had been working his way back from a right ankle sprain when the hamstring issue occurred.
