The Brooklyn Nets have signed free-agent center David Muoka, according to the NBA.com transaction log.

Muoka, 24, spent two collegiate seasons at Lamar University (2019-21) before transferring to UNLV, where he played from 2021 to 2023. The 6-10 big man appeared with the Long Island Nets during the 2023/24 G League campaign and entered the 2024 NBA Draft, going unselected.

Last fall, Muoka accepted an Exhibit 10 contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. His G League rights were first moved from Long Island to the Rip City Remix—Portland’s affiliate—then rerouted to the Windy City Bulls one month later.

With Windy City, Muoka played 48 games in 2024/25, averaging 10.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks across 26.5 minutes while shooting 66.5 percent from the field.

Although an Exhibit 10 agreement would align with Muoka’s recent G League trajectory, those deals are generally not listed on NBA.com’s log, leaving the exact contract terms unconfirmed.

Brooklyn’s roster now stands at the offseason maximum of 21 players. Reported agreements with Ricky Council IV and Grant Nelson remain unsigned, indicating further roster moves are likely before training camp.
