Bleacher Report’s Grant Hughes has outlined a speculative deal that would move Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat.

Proposed terms

Heat would receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo

Bucks would receive: Tyler Herro, rookie center Kel’el Ware, guard Terry Rozier, first-round picks in 2029 and 2031, and first-round pick swaps in 2028, 2030 and 2032.

Why the idea surfaced

Milwaukee has fallen to 17-24 and sits outside the Eastern Conference play-in spots, while Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists. The statistical gap between the two-time MVP’s performance and the team’s results has fueled trade speculation.

Miami’s appeal

League insider Sam Amick of The Athletic previously reported that Miami is among the destinations Antetokounmpo would consider. The forward shares agent Alex Saratsis with Heat center Bam Adebayo, adding to ongoing rumors.

Current stance of player and team

Antetokounmpo has consistently stated he will not request a trade, and Milwaukee maintains it has no plans to shop him unless he asks to leave. Until that changes, the proposal remains theoretical.
