New York, Philadelphia and Sacramento picked up important victories Wednesday, each powered by standout performances from their stars.

Knicks 130, Grizzlies 119

OG Anunoby set the pace at Madison Square Garden with 25 points and 13 rebounds, while Karl-Anthony Towns authored his fourth career triple-double—20 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists—as New York stopped a three-game slide. The Knicks converted 13 of their first 15 attempts, shot 71 percent before halftime and piled up a season-high 79 first-half points. Mikal Bridges chipped in 24 points. The victory keeps New York third in the Eastern Conference, 1.5 games in front of Cleveland.

76ers 153, Wizards 131

Playing without Joel Embiid, Philadelphia leaned on Paul George, who poured in a season-best 39 points on 15-for-22 shooting, including six three-pointers, in his fourth game after suspension. Tyrese Maxey added 28 points and nine assists, and VJ Edgecombe contributed 23 points and 10 assists. The Sixers’ starters hit 69 percent from the field and used a 24-4 burst in the third quarter to break the game open. Philadelphia has reached at least 150 points in consecutive Wednesday games and has taken 11 of its last 12 meetings with Washington.

Kings 123, Raptors 115

DeMar DeRozan scored 14 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter at Scotiabank Arena, guiding Sacramento to a road win that snapped a four-game losing streak. DeRozan also passed Dominique Wilkins for 17th place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. Precious Achiuwa delivered 28 points and a season-high 19 rebounds, while Malik Monk finished with 18 points. The Kings converted 27 of 29 free throws to secure the result.
