The Dallas Mavericks have upgraded rookie center Moussa Cisse from a training-camp deal to a two-way contract, reporter Michael Scotto of HoopsHype revealed on October 18, 2025.
Cisse, 6-foot-11, joined Dallas in early July after going undrafted. Over three preseason appearances, he logged 34 minutes and blocked seven shots, showcasing the rim protection that earned him the promotion.
The Guinean big man began and finished his college career at Memphis, with stops at Oklahoma State and Ole Miss in between. Across 150 collegiate games, he averaged 1.7 blocks while playing fewer than 20 minutes per contest.
With Cisse’s addition, the Mavericks have filled all three two-way slots. Guards Ryan Nembhard and Miles Kelly occupy the other two positions, while Cisse is expected to spend considerable time with the club’s G League affiliate this season.
