The Orlando Magic released guards Reece Beekman, Lester Quinones and Javonte Smart, along with forward Phillip Wheeler, as the club finalized its roster for the 2025-26 regular season.

The four players entered training camp on Exhibit 10 contracts. Orlando converted the contract of the fifth Exhibit 10 invitee, center Colin Castleton, to a two-way deal, the team confirmed in a press release.

All four waived players own prior NBA experience. Beekman made 36 appearances last season with the Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets, while Quinones played 13 games for the Philadelphia 76ers and New Orleans Pelicans. Smart has logged 18 career regular-season outings, and Wheeler saw action in five games on a 10-day contract with Philadelphia a year ago.

If none of the four signs elsewhere in the coming days, each is expected to begin the season with the Osceola Magic, Orlando’s G League affiliate. A stay of at least 60 days with Osceola would earn each player an $85,300 Exhibit 10 bonus.

Following the moves, Orlando’s roster stands at 14 standard contracts and three two-way slots.
