The Orlando Magic have signed undrafted guard Johnell Davis to an Exhibit 10 contract and waived forward Justin Minaya, the team confirmed on October 5.

Davis, 23, went unselected in the 2025 NBA Draft after spending five collegiate seasons—four at Florida Atlantic University and one at Arkansas. In his lone year with the Razorbacks, the 6-foot-4 guard averaged 12.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.4 steals per game.

He appeared in three contests for Orlando during July’s Summer League, posting 4.3 points and 2.3 assists while logging 17.9 minutes per game.

Minaya, 26, joined the Magic on an Exhibit 10 deal in August after three seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. The 6-foot-6 wing played 57 NBA games but never secured consistent rotation minutes.

Both players are eligible for a bonus of up to $85,300 if they spend at least 60 days with Orlando’s G League affiliate, the Osceola Magic. Davis would qualify for that incentive only if he is waived before the end of training camp.
