Lakers’ Luka Doncic to Have MRI on Left Hamstring After Exiting Game in Oklahoma City

Los Angeles Lakers star guard Luka Doncic left Thursday night’s road game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a left hamstring injury and will not return, the team announced.
According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, the 27-year-old Slovenian is scheduled for an MRI on Friday to determine the extent of the damage.
The injury occurred with 7:42 remaining in the third quarter at Paycom Center. At the moment Doncic checked out, Los Angeles trailed by 38 points.
The Lakers did not provide a timeline for Doncic’s recovery and said additional updates will follow after imaging results are available.
