Doncic, Quickley Capture NBA Player of the Week Honors

The NBA has selected Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic and Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley as the Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week for Week 14, covering games played from Jan. 19–25.
Doncic guided the Lakers to a 2-1 record during the period, averaging 34.3 points, 10.7 rebounds and 9.7 assists.
Quickley led Toronto to four victories, posting 25.3 points per game on 61.1 percent shooting while adding 6.8 rebounds. His recent play comes amid reports that the Raptors have been assessing his trade market.
Other Western Conference nominees were Saddiq Bey (Pelicans), Kevin Durant (Rockets), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder), James Harden (Clippers) and Naji Marshall (Mavericks). In the East, Bam Adebayo and Norman Powell (Heat), Jalen Duren (Pistons), Jalen Johnson (Hawks), Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers) and Coby White (Bulls) were also considered.
