The Los Angeles Lakers have released center Kylor Kelley, according to the NBA’s official transaction log.
Kelley, 27, joined the Lakers on an Exhibit 10 deal in August. The 7-footer had a similar stint with Los Angeles before the 2024/25 campaign, ultimately spending most of that season with the club’s G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.
The Oregon State product has appeared in 11 NBA games—eight with the Mavericks and three with the Pelicans—posting career averages of 3.1 points and 3.5 rebounds across 11.5 minutes per contest.
In the G League last year, Kelley recorded 11.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game for South Bay. By returning to the affiliate and remaining for at least 60 days, he could earn a bonus of up to $85,300.
