The Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks have finalized a trade that will send guard Gabe Vincent and a 2032 second-round draft pick to Atlanta in exchange for shooting guard Luke Kennard.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reported the terms of the deal on February 5, 2026, citing league sources. The Athletic’s Dan Woike first indicated that the Lakers were close to moving Vincent earlier in the day.
Vincent, 29, joined Los Angeles as a free agent in 2023 after four seasons with the Miami Heat. Kennard, 29, has spent the past two seasons with Atlanta following stints with the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Clippers.
The trade gives the Lakers a proven perimeter shooter, while the Hawks add backcourt depth and an additional future draft asset.
