The Los Angeles Lakers will offer a brand-new seating option when the NBA playoffs arrive at Crypto.com Arena, introducing a “Courtside Reserve” row situated directly behind the traditional courtside seats.
A team representative told The California Post that the new locations are expected to cost about 78 percent of regular courtside tickets. During the postseason, standard courtside spots generally sell for between $20,000 and $40,000 apiece, placing the Courtside Reserve range roughly between $15,000 and $30,000 per seat.
Buyers will receive several premium amenities—including in-seat food and beverage service, access to a VIP club and what the organization describes as an enhanced arrival-to-departure experience.
Courtside seating at Lakers games is among the most recognizable in sports, frequently occupied by high-profile fans such as Jack Nicholson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Denzel Washington. The added row expands the supply, though at a price point that remains out of reach for most spectators.
Los Angeles is scheduled to open its playoff campaign in less than two weeks; the first-round opponent has not yet been determined. Player availability for stars such as Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves also remains in question.
The organization’s message is clear: anyone hoping to sit just feet from the action this spring will have to pay a premium.
