The New York Knicks have lined up a training-camp contract for guard Donovan Williams, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

The 22-year-old spent last season with the organization’s G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks, where he averaged 17.8 points and 4.7 rebounds. During the 2024-25 campaign he also logged minutes in professional leagues in Canada and China, and most recently competed in the Canadian Elite Basketball League over the summer.

Williams made his NBA debut with the Atlanta Hawks during the 2022-23 season, appearing in two games. He later joined Golden State’s 2023 training camp but was released before opening night.

The new pact is expected to follow the Exhibit 10 structure. If New York waives Williams after camp and he returns to Westchester for at least 60 days, he would be eligible for a bonus of $85,300.
