The New York Knicks are set to add forward Tosan Evbuomwan, agent George S. Langberg of GSL Sports Group told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Contract terms were not disclosed, but the deal is expected to cover training camp.

Evbuomwan, a 6-foot-8 British native, spent last season on a two-way contract with the Brooklyn Nets before being waived in August. He appeared in 28 NBA games for Brooklyn in 2024/25, averaging 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.9 steals while shooting 42.7% from the field, 31.2% from three-point range and 75.3% from the free-throw line.

In the G League, the 24-year-old posted 19.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks across 13 contests with the Long Island Nets.

Undrafted out of Princeton in 2023, the former Ivy League Player of the Year began his professional career with the Motor City Cruise, the Detroit Pistons’ G League affiliate. Strong numbers there led to a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, followed by a 10-day and later a two-way deal with Detroit. He opened the 2024/25 campaign with the San Diego Clippers in the G League before signing his January two-way agreement with Brooklyn.

New York currently has no players under two-way contracts. Forward Kevin McCullar Jr. has a two-way qualifying offer on the table, and training-camp signee Dink Pate is also vying for a spot. Second-round pick Mohamed Diawara is expected to secure a standard NBA contract rather than a two-way slot.
