NEW YORK — The New York Knicks have finalized two-way contracts with center Trey Jemison and forward Tosan Evbuomwan, filling all three of the club’s two-way slots ahead of training camp.
The team announced late Tuesday afternoon that Jemison, 25, and Kevin McCullar Jr. have officially signed two-way deals. Earlier in the day, SNY reported that New York had also reached an agreement with Evbuomwan, 24, upgrading his previously reported Exhibit 10 pact to a two-way contract.
Jemison spent last season on a two-way agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers after signing in January. The 6-11 big man appeared in 22 games for Los Angeles, averaging 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds over 10.3 minutes while shooting 61.9 percent from the field. The undrafted UAB product owns 63 career NBA games (14 starts) with the Lakers, Pelicans, Wizards, and Grizzlies, posting lifetime marks of 4.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 15.3 minutes.
Evbuomwan began the 2024-25 season in the G League with the San Diego Clippers before joining the Brooklyn Nets on a two-way deal in January. The 6-8 forward logged 28 games for Brooklyn, producing 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.9 steals while shooting .427 from the floor and .312 from three-point range. The former Ivy League Player of the Year at Princeton went undrafted in 2023 and has also had short stints with the Grizzlies and Pistons.
McCullar is expected to return on a two-way qualifying offer, giving New York its full complement of three two-way players as camp approaches.
