Kings Promote Will Scott to Lead Stockton G League Bench

The Sacramento Kings have elevated Will Scott to head coach of the Stockton Kings, the organization’s NBA G League affiliate, the team confirmed Monday.
Scott most recently served as Stockton’s associate head coach. His résumé with Sacramento also includes stints as head video coordinator and player development coach.
Before joining the Kings organization, the 36-year-old spent eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, three of them as the club’s head video coordinator.
Scott takes over for Quinton Crawford, who departed in late May to become an assistant under Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups. Crawford guided Stockton to a 22-12 record last season, his lone year in charge.
