Veteran guard Jordan Loyd, standout performer for Poland at EuroBasket 2025, is nearing an agreement with Turkish powerhouse Anadolu Efes, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Loyd, 32, averaged a team-best 22.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting 49% from the field and 42.2% from three in seven EuroBasket games. The former Toronto Raptor helped AS Monaco reach its first EuroLeague final last season, posting 10.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 27 contests.
Real Madrid had shown interest in bringing the guard to Spain, but complications involving his Spanish league rights—currently held by Valencia—hampered negotiations. Efes captured back-to-back EuroLeague titles in 2021 and 2022 and finished last season with a quarterfinal playoff exit.
