Jazz Guarantee 2026-27 Seasons for Five Young Players

The Utah Jazz have locked in the 2026-27 salaries for five members of their young core, the club announced in a press release.
Players whose rookie-scale options were exercised
• Taylor Hendricks, fourth year — $7,805,900
• Keyonte George, fourth year — $6,563,925
• Cody Williams, third year — $6,015,600
• Brice Sensabaugh, fourth year — $4,862,237
• Isaiah Collier, third year — $2,763,960
According to The Salt Lake Tribune, there was some uncertainty surrounding Williams’ option after a challenging rookie campaign, but the Jazz ultimately chose to keep the No. 10 pick from the 2024 draft under contract.
With their fourth-year options now secured, George, Hendricks, and Sensabaugh will be eligible to sign rookie-scale extensions during the 2026 offseason.

Keyonte George, selected 16th in 2023, has opened his third season averaging personal highs of 22.3 points, 9.3 assists, and 1.0 steal across 34.5 minutes in four games.
Taylor Hendricks, the ninth pick in 2023, missed most of last year with a fractured right fibula and dislocated ankle. The 21-year-old forward is averaging 5.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in 17.3 minutes through four appearances this fall.
Brice Sensabaugh turned 22 on Thursday, the same day his $4.86 million salary became guaranteed. The wing is posting 10.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in 17.5 minutes over four games.
Isaiah Collier, the 29th pick in 2024, has yet to play this season while recovering from a hamstring strain but is nearing a return.
The Jazz have no remaining rookie-scale decisions for this year. The front office will have until the end of October 2026 to determine whether to pick up the fourth-year options on Collier and Williams for the 2027-28 campaign.
