The Utah Jazz have re-signed forward/center Oscar Tshiebwe to a two-way contract, according to the NBA’s official transaction log released on August 19, 2025.

Utah made the 6’8” former Kentucky star a restricted free agent in June by extending a two-way qualifying offer. Tshiebwe is believed to have accepted that offer, a one-year deal featuring a partial guarantee of $85,300 and a maximum value of $636,435 if fully guaranteed.

After going undrafted in 2023, Tshiebwe spent his rookie season on a two-way agreement with the Indiana Pacers before joining the Jazz on a similar deal last year. He has appeared in 22 NBA games across two seasons, including 14 contests for Utah in 2024-25, when he averaged 7.6 points and 8.7 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per outing. He posted double-digit rebounds in eight of his final 10 games in March and April.

The 24-year-old dominated the G League with the Salt Lake City Stars, earning First Team All-NBAGL honors and finishing second in MVP voting. Over 42 games, he averaged 16.1 points, a league-best 18.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals. He recorded at least 20 boards in seven of his last nine games, highlighted by a 30-rebound performance—14 on the offensive glass—against the Iowa Wolves.

Tshiebwe remains eligible to appear in up to 50 NBA regular-season games under two-way rules. He occupies one of Utah’s three two-way slots alongside Elijah Harkless, while second-round pick John Tonje is considered the favorite for the final spot.
