The Utah Jazz have signed center Mo Bamba to a second 10-day contract, the club announced in a press release.

Bamba’s initial 10-day deal expired Saturday night. During that stint the 27-year-old was active for six games but logged minutes in only two, averaging 5.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.0 block in 19.0 minutes during road contests in Philadelphia and Washington.

The 6’10” big man, selected sixth overall in the 2018 draft, failed to land a guaranteed NBA contract before the 2025-26 season. He joined Utah for training camp, was waived, and then reported to the Salt Lake City Stars, the Jazz’s G League affiliate. In 22 G League appearances he has posted 17.0 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks over 27.7 minutes per game while shooting 55.3% from the field, 38.0% from three and 80.7% at the foul line.

An eight-year NBA veteran, Bamba also spent about a week with the Toronto Raptors in late December and early January. Under his new deal he will earn $177,064, while Utah incurs a $131,970 cap hit.

The contract runs through March 17, allowing Bamba to play in up to four more games. After it expires, the Jazz must either sign him for the remainder of the season or let him hit free agency.
