Indiana center Ivica Zubac has been listed as questionable for Thursday’s home game against the Phoenix Suns, according to Forbes Sports reporter Tony East. If cleared, the 29-year-old would appear in a Pacers uniform for the first time this season.
Indiana acquired Zubac at the trade deadline to bolster its frontcourt ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, when All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton is expected to return from a ruptured Achilles. The Pacers surrendered a 2026 first-round pick protected for selections 1-4 and 10-30 in the deal, making the club’s final record a key factor in the pick’s eventual conveyance.
Zubac earned All-Defensive Second Team honors last year after averaging 16.8 points and 12.6 rebounds, but injuries have sidelined him throughout the current season. Indiana enters Thursday at 15-50, the league’s worst mark.
Three other Pacers—TJ McConnell, Andrew Nembhard, and Aaron Nesmith—are also listed as questionable. Pascal Siakam and Quenton Jackson are doubtful.
