The Detroit Pistons stretched their winning streak to 12 games on Saturday night, defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 129-116 at Fiserv Forum and matching the third-longest run in franchise history.

The victory marked guard Jaden Ivey’s first appearance since fracturing his left fibula on New Year’s Day. Sidelined more than 10 months and recovering from two surgeries—most recently a knee procedure in mid-October—the second-year guard entered off the bench and supplied 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting, two assists and a steal in 15 minutes.

“Just cherished the moment,” Ivey said. “So much gratitude to be out there again.”

Detroit (14-2) snapped a 13-game skid against Milwaukee in the process and now owns the best record in the Eastern Conference. Two seasons ago, the club finished 14-68, the league’s worst mark.

Cade Cunningham, who guided the offense throughout the streak, praised Ivey’s readiness. “It’s like seeing him in his natural state,” the guard said. “He looked good today—doesn’t look like he’s missed as much time as he has.”

Inside the locker room, Cunningham reminded teammates of the importance of ending the losing run to the Bucks. “I don’t think any franchise should have that over ours,” he said. Center Jalen Duren echoed the sentiment: “We’re still hungry. We still feel like we’ve got a lot to prove.”

Detroit will try to extend its streak to 13 when it hosts the Orlando Magic on Monday.
