ATLANTA — The Hawks said Saturday that guard Trae Young will remain sidelined for at least two more weeks as he continues to recover from a sprained MCL in his right knee. The 25-year-old was hurt on Oct. 29 in Brooklyn when he collided with teammate Mouhamed Gueye. An MRI revealed no additional damage, but Young has not played since. The team will re-evaluate him at the end of the two-week window, marking Atlanta’s first formal update since Nov. 1.

76ers

Philadelphia center Andre Drummond avoided structural damage after spraining his right knee Friday night against Brooklyn. The Sixers said an MRI on Saturday morning showed no major injury, and the veteran big man is considered day-to-day. Drummond appeared to hyperextend the knee while battling for a rebound with teammate Kyle Lowry and left the court in a wheelchair. He will be checked again at 4 p.m. CT. Second-year forward Adem Bona, returning from an ankle sprain, started the second half in Drummond’s place. Paul George also returned to the lineup after missing one game with an ankle issue.

Clippers

Los Angeles dropped its sixth consecutive home game Saturday, falling 112-107 to the Grizzlies and losing for the 12th time in 14 outings overall. The Clippers led by 16 in the first half but faltered after the break. Center Ivica Zubac said the team “isn’t playing the right way” in second halves and described the issue as partly mental. Kawhi Leonard scored 39 points and stressed the need for contributions from the entire roster, not just a few players.
