Knueppel has started 30 of his 31 appearances, posting averages of 19.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 47.8% from the field, 42.8% from three and 89.7% at the foul line.
League-Wide Updates
MIAMI — Heat center Bam Adebayo, listed as probable for Monday’s game against Denver, has missed the last two contests while resting lingering soreness. Head coach Erik Spoelstra said the break was needed after the All-Star big man began “overcompensating” physically.
SALT LAKE CITY — Jazz rookie wing Ace Bailey sat out Saturday’s win over the Spurs with a left hip strain suffered two nights earlier in Detroit. Veteran forward Kevin Love also missed the Spurs game for rest purposes.
PORTLAND — Injuries continue to hamper the Trail Blazers’ push for a play-in berth. Guard Jrue Holiday has been sidelined nearly six weeks by a right calf strain initially projected as a one-to-two-week absence. Forwards Jerami Grant and Matisse Thybulle have also missed stretches, and rookie guard Scoot Henderson has yet to debut. “It’s the injuries, my friend,” head coach Tiago Splitter said Friday.
