Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey was downgraded from “questionable” to “out” for Tuesday night’s matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers as he continues to recover from a strained left hamstring, head coach Billy Donovan told reporters. Donovan added that the 23-year-old could be available Thursday when the Bulls visit Minnesota.

Forward Patrick Williams will also miss Tuesday’s game with a right ankle sprain and is considered day-to-day, according to the team.

League-wide injury updates

Naz Reid exited the Timberwolves’ loss in San Antonio on Saturday after just five minutes because of soreness in his left shoulder. The center was initially listed as questionable for Tuesday’s contest in Utah but has since been cleared to play, the league’s official injury report shows.

Herbert Jones has been upgraded to questionable for the New Orleans Pelicans’ home game against Detroit on Wednesday. The defensive specialist has missed 14 of the club’s past 15 outings with a right ankle sprain. Despite appearing in multiple trade rumors, Jones is reportedly off-limits in discussions.

Washington Wizards forward Cam Whitmore, ruled out for the remainder of the 2025-26 season because of a blood clot in his right shoulder, was on the bench during Monday’s loss to the Clippers—an encouraging sign for his long-term health. The former first-round pick becomes extension-eligible this summer and is owed $5.46 million in 2026-27, the final year of his rookie contract.
