The Charlotte Hornets will be without PJ Hall for the foreseeable future after the second-year center was diagnosed with a fractured right ankle, according to the NBA’s latest official injury report.
Hall, 22, is on a two-way contract and has appeared in limited action for Charlotte this season. The club has not provided a timetable for his recovery, but the nature of the injury all but rules him out for the remainder of the regular season, which concludes on April 12.
Because two-way players are ineligible for postseason play, the Hornets are unlikely to convert Hall to a standard NBA contract while he rehabs. Even if such a move were made, the fracture is expected to keep him off the court for several weeks.
Hall opened the 2025-26 campaign on a two-way deal with the Memphis Grizzlies before being waived in mid-November. Charlotte signed the Clemson product roughly five weeks later, adding frontcourt depth as injuries mounted.
No additional updates were provided, and the team indicated more information will be released when available.
