The Golden State Warriors expect to be without veteran center Al Horford and guard Seth Curry for at least the next seven days after both players underwent MRI exams, head coach Steve Kerr confirmed.

Horford left Friday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first quarter with what the team initially called right calf tightness. Imaging later identified a calf strain, and Kerr said he anticipates the 37-year-old to miss multiple games.

Curry exited the same matchup in the second quarter and was diagnosed with a left adductor strain. The 33-year-old has appeared in only four games since signing with Golden State in early December because of previous sciatica issues.

Through 43 appearances this season, Horford is averaging 8.3 points and 5.0 rebounds in 21.7 minutes. The Warriors fell to 32-35 after Sunday’s loss to the New York Knicks. Curry has not recorded any traditional statistics in his limited action.

Golden State also played Sunday without Draymond Green (back injury management), Kristaps Porzingis (illness management), De’Anthony Melton (knee injury management) and Stephen Curry (knee).

The team will reassess both Horford and Seth Curry in one week to determine their availability moving forward.
