The Miami Heat and forward Nikola Jovic have reached a four-year, $62.4 million rookie-scale extension, according to his representatives at Excel Sports Management, Jeff Schwartz, Sean Kennedy and Jared Mucha.

The agreement, first reported on October 1, 2025, by Shams Charania of ESPN, covers the 2026-27 through 2029-30 seasons. A source told Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that the contract is a straight four-year deal with no player or team options attached.

Jovic, 22, was selected 27th overall by Miami in the 2022 NBA Draft. He averaged 7.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 59 games last season, shooting 38.6 percent from three-point range while appearing in both forward spots.

The extension keeps the 6-foot-10 Serbian under contract well into his prime as the Heat continue to build around franchise cornerstone Jimmy Butler and emerging star Bam Adebayo.
