The Miami Heat announced that guard/forward Norman Powell has sustained a Grade 1 groin strain and will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis.
The team did not provide a target date for Powell’s return and offered no additional details regarding when the injury occurred or what his rehabilitation program will entail.
Powell, 32, joined Miami earlier this season and has been part of the club’s regular rotation. His availability will be revisited as the medical staff monitors his progress.
